In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taiyin Spleen Meridian of Foot is one of the Twelve Standard Meridians. It is correspond with Yangming Stomach Meridian of Foot. The Flow Hours of this meridians is 9:00AM - 11:00AM.

Flowing Route

Taiyin spleen meridian of foot starts from the medial side of the great toe (Yinbai, SP1), where it runs along the medial aspect of the foot at the junction of red and white skin. Then in front of the medial malleolus it ascends along the medial aspect of the leg to an area 8 cun above the medial malleolus, where it crosses and goes in front of jueyin liver meridian of foot. Running along the anterior border of the medial aspect of the thigh, it enters the abdomen and then the spleen to which it pertains and links with the stomach. From there, it ascends through the diaphragm and runs alongside the esophagus to connect with the root of the tongue and spread under the tongue.

One branch from the point 4 cun lateral to the groin ascends along the ribs to the 2nd intercostal space along the line 6 cun lateral to the thoracic midline, where it spreads over the chest and hypochondrium.

The branch separating from the stomach goes upwards through the diaphragm and flows into the heart to connect with shaoyin heart meridian of hand.
