地機

Diji

Diji(SP8, 地机) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyin Spleen Meridian of Foot. Diji is the Xi-Cleft Point of the spleen.

Meaning

Di, earth; ji, importance Di refers to the lower limbs where the point is located. The local muscle is very thick and is an important region of the leg movement.

Location

3 cun below the medial condyle of the tibia.

Indication

Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, diarrhea, dysentery, edema, seminal emission.

Method

Perpendicularly 0.5-1.5 cun.
