Zhongdu

Zhongdu

Zhongdu(LR6,中都) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Jueyin Liver Meridian of Foot. It is the Xi-cleft point of the meridian.

Location

7 cun above the medial malleolus behind the tibia.

Indication

• ①Hernia, abdominal pain;
• ②metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, lochiorrhea;
• ③diarrhea.

Method

Puncture subcutaneously 0.5-0.8 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
