Property

Pungent, bitter, warm, slightly toxic; liver and kidney meridians entered.

Actions

Dispel wind and eliminate dampness, relax tendons, activate blood and alleviate pain.

Indications

Dermatophytosis due to cold-damp, sores and boils, rheumatoid arthritis, contracture of muscles and bones.

Dosage and administration

Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cations

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
