Ingredients

Explanation

Ze Xie: Promoting diuresis and eliminating dampness.

Sheng Jiang: Dispersing accumulation of pathogens, regulating the stomach to arrest vomiting.

Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.

Ban Xia: Dissolving phlegm and dispersing accumulation of pathogens, keeping the adverse Qi flowing downward and regulating the stomach.

Ren Shen: Powerfully reinforcing original qi, tonifying zang-organ qi, promoting the generation of body fluid to alleviate thirst.

Fu Ling: Inducing diuresis and draining dampness, invigorating the spleen and inducing tranquilization.

Chai Hu: Clearing away heat through the superficies of the body to relieve exterior syndrome.

Di Gu Pi: Clearing deficiency heat, clearing lung fire, cooling blood.

Rou Gui: Reinforcing fire and strengthening yang, dispelling cold to alleviate pain, warming meridians and collaterals.

Shi Gao and Zhu Ye: Clearing away heat and relieving restlessness.

Effect

Tonify qi, strengthen yang, dispel cold and purge heat.

Administration

Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken.
