Explanation
Dang Gui: Tonify blood and activate blood.
Sheng Di: Clear heat and nourish yin.
Mai Dong and Yu Zhu: Clear heat and moisten dryness, nourish the lung and stomach.
Sha Shen: Clear lung fire and tonify lung yin.
Tian Men Dong: Nourish yin of lung and stomach, clear heat of lung and stomach, nourish kidney.
Bai Shao: Tonify blood and nourish Yin.
Di Gu Pi: Clear lung-heat.
Raw Gan Cao: Purge fire and harmonize the spleen and stomach.
Zhi Mu: Clear heat and purge fire, nourish yin and moisten dryness.
Dang Shen: Invigorate lung-qi and spleen-qi, nourish blood, and promote the generation of body fluid.
Yuan Shen: Clear heat and cool blood, nourish yin for lowering fire.
Wu Wei Zi: Astringe the lung, secure essence, replenish qi and nourish kidney, promote the generation of fluid to relieve thirst.
Wu Mei: Astringe lung and promote the generation of fluid.
Effect
Nourish yin and moisten dryness, replenish qi and promote the secretion of saliva.
Indications
Yin injured by lung-heat.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
