- Mu Xiang 15 g,
- Zi Su Ye 23 g,

- Jie Geng 15 g,

Explanation
Zi Su Ye: Dispelling pathogenic cold and facilitating the flow of the lung-Qi.
Qian Hu: Dispelling phlegm and directing qi downward.
Gan Ge: Releasing exterior syndrome.
Ren Shen, Fu Ling and Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach.
Jie Geng: Diffusing the lung qi and eliminating phlegm.
Ban Xia and Chen Pi: Arresting vomiting and resolving phlegm.
Zhi Qiao: Soothing chest and middle energizer, relieving distention.
Mu Xiang: Promoting the circulation of qi.
Effect
Tonify qi and relieve exterior syndrome, diffuse the lung qi and resolve phlegm.
Indications
Cough with excessive phlegm, choking sensation in chest, headache with nasal obstruction, fever with aversion to cold, palpitation, dizziness, hiccup, phlegm and retained fluid.
Administration
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
