Ingredients
- Ren Shen 6 g,
- Fu Ling 12 g,
- Chao Bai Zhu 12 g,
- Gan Cao 3 g,
- Huo Xiang 12 g,
- Mu Xiang 6 g,
- Ge Gen 15 g.
Explanation
Ren Shen: Invigorating primordial Qi, strengthening the spleen and stomach.
Bai Zhu: Strengthening the spleen and drying dampness.
Fu Ling: Inducing diuresis and strengthening the spleen, assisting Bai Zhu in promoting the transforming and transporting function of the spleen.
Mu Xiang: Promoting the circulation of qi.
Ge Gen: Promoting eruption and expelling exo-pathogens, aiding in the production of body fluids.
Huo Xiang: Dispersing wind-cold and removing dampness.
Zhi Gan Cao: Replenishing Qi and regulating the function of the middle-Jiao, tempering the actions or all other ingredients.
Effect
Strengthen the spleen and tonify qi, harmonize the stomach and promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid.
Indications
Weakness in spleen and stomach, vomit, diarrhea, polydipsia, body fluid deficiency.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
