Ingredients

  • Ma Huang (Herba Ephedrae) 6g,
  • Xi Xin (Herba Asari) 6g,
  • Fu Zi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) 9g.

Explanation

Ma Huang: Relieving exterior syndrome, dispersing cold pathogen.

Fu Zi: Warming up the channels and supporting Yang-Qi.

Xi Xin: Assisting Ma Huang in relieving exterior syndrome, aiding Fu Zi in warming up the channels.

Effect

Restoring Yang, expelling pathogenic factors from the superficies.

Indications

Syndrome due to the effect of exogenous wind-cold pathogens and Yang insufficiency, marked by chills, low fever and deep pulse; including such diseases with the above symptoms as chronic bronchitis, chronic nephritis, rheumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

Administration

Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken 3 times.
