Ingredients
- Yin Chai Hu 6 g,
- Huang Qin 4.5 g,
- Ren Shen 3 g,
- Ban Xia 3 g,
- Gan Cao 1.5 g,
- Chen Pi 3.6 g,
- Cang Zhu 4.5 g,
- Hou Po 3 g,
- Hong Zao 2 dates,
- Sheng Jiang 10 g.
Explanation
Yin Chai Hu: Clearing deficiency heat.
Cang Zhu: Removing dampness to promote the function of the spleen.
Hou Po: Promoting the circulation of Qi, resolving dampness, relieving distention and fullness in the abdomen.
Ban Xia and Chen Pi: Removing dampness, regulating the stomach, checking upward adverse flow of Qi and relieving vomiting.
Gan Cao: Regulating the stomach and tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
Sheng Jiang and Da Zao: Regulating the function of the spleen and stomach.
Ren Shen and Huang Qi: Tonifying qi.
Huang Qin: Clearing heat and removing toxicity.
Effect
Harmonize Shaoyang, eliminate dampness and harmonize the stomach.
Indications
Malaria due to dampness.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
