Explanation
Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling and Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating Qi and strengthening the spleen.
Ban Xia: Removing dampness and resolving phlegm, keeping the adverse flow of Qi downward to arrest vomiting.
Dang Gui: Tonifying blood and activating blood, alleviating pain.
Chen Pi: Regulating the flow of Qi and stomach, removing dampness and dissolving phlegm.
Huang Qin: Clearing heat and removing toxicity.
Chuan Xiong: Activating blood circulation and promoting the flow of qi, expelling wind and alleviating pain.
Cang Zhu: Drying dampness and invigorating spleen, dispelling wind-dampness.
Xiang Fu: Soothing liver and regulating qi, regulating menorrhea and alleviating pain.
Zhi Qiao: Promoting the flow of qi, soothing the chest and middle energizer, relieving distention.
Effect
Clear heat, remove dampness and resolve phlegm, promote the flow of qi.
Indications
Excessive phlegm with qi deficiency.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken before meal.
