Ingredients
- Bai Tou Weng 6 g,
- Gan Cao 6 g,
- E Jiao 6 g,
- Qin Pi 9 g,
- Huang Lian 9 g,
- Huang Bo 9 g.
Explanation
Bai Tou Weng: Clearing away noxious heat in the blood system.
E Jiao: Nourishing Yin and tonifying the lung, enriching blood to arrest bleeding.
Huang Lian, Huang Bo and Qin Pi: Removing heat and toxic material, drying dampness and relieving dysentery.
Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, clearing heat and removing toxicity.
Effect
Clear heat and treat dysentery, replenish qi and tonify blood.
Indications
Dysentery after delivery, abdominal pain, tenesmus, qi and blood deficiency, stool containing pus and blood.
Administration
The ingredients are decocted in water for the decoction, to which E Jiao that has been melted in boiling water is added. The decoction is taken 3 times.
