ST41
Jiexi(ST41,解溪) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Yangming Stomach Meridian of Foot. It is the Jing-River Point of the stomach.
Meaning
Jie, separation; xi, stream. Xi refers to a minor depression on the body surface. The point is in the anterior articular depression of the ankle joint.
Location
At the junction of the dorsum of foot, between the tendons of m. extensor digitorum longus and hallucis longus.
Indication
- chiefly for diseases of the local area of the condylar articulation and the soft tissues.
- for paralysis of the lower extremities and foot drop.
Method
Perpendicularly 0.5-1cun.
