Qiangu(SI2,前谷) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian of Hand. It is the Ying-Spring Point of the small intestine.

Meaning

Qian, front; gu, valley. The depression in front of the 5th metacarpophalangeal joint is like a valley, and here the point is located.

Location

When a loose fist is made, the point is on the ulnar side, distal to the 5th metacarpophelangeal joint, at the junction of the red and white skin.

Indication

Fever, headache, eyeache, lactation deficiency, numbness of the finger.
