Tianchi

Tianchi(PC1,天池) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Jueyin Pericardium Meridian of Hand.

Location

In the 4th intercostal space, l cun lateral to the nipple.

Indication

• ①Bronchitis, asthma, obstruction of the chest, chest pain, and other diseases of the lung and heart;
• ②mammary abscesses;
• ③scrofula and acute mastitis.

Methods

Lie on back, first fix the first intercostal space, then select the point 1cun lateral to the middle point of nipple. The women should select the point between 1 cun lateral to the middle line of collarbone and fourth intercostal space.
