Property

Pungent, bitter, cold, toxic; lung meridian entered.

Actions

Promote diuresis, remove toxicity, dissipate food stagnation and dispel blood stasis.

Indications

Food stagnation, abdominal mass, traumatic injury, anal fistula, tympanites, pyogenic infections.

Dosage and administration

Decoct 6~15 g, or made into juice or powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women and weak people with loose stool.
