Actions

Clear heat and cool blood, improve eyesight and moisten dryness.

Indications

Hematemesis, urine with blood, bleeding gums, sore gums, toothache, dry stool, swelling and pain of eyes, blepharitis ciliaris.

Dosage and administration

Decoct 1.2~2.5 g, or made into pill or powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder for tooth-brushing, mouthwash or eye-washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to people with edema.
