Zhongshu

Zhongshu(GV7,中枢) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Governor Vessel.

Location

On the midline of the lower back, in the depression below the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra(T10).

Indication

• ①Jaundice;
• ②vomiting, fullness in the abdomen, stomachache, anorexia, and other spleen and stomach diseases;
• ③pain in the waist and back.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
