Xiyan

Location

In the depression on both sides of the patellar ligament when the kneels flexed. The medial and lateral points are named "Neixiyan" and "Waixiyan" respectively.

Indications

Gonalgia, weakness of the lower extremities.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
