Zhongting

Zhongting(CV16,中庭) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Conception Vessel.

Location

On the anterior midline, just at the xiphosternal synchondrosis, level with the 5th intercostal space.

Indication

• ①Fullness sensation in the chest and abdomen, dysphagia, vomiting;
• ②precordial pain;
• ③globus hystericus.

Method

Horizontal insertion 0.3~0.5 cun.
