Chengjin

Chengjin(BL56,承筋) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Location

At the midpoint of a line drawn from Heyang(BL50) to Chengshan( BL57), in the middle of the venter musculi of gastrocnemius.

Indication

• ①Contracture and pain in the lower back and legs;
• ②hemorrhoids.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 inches. Moxibustion is applicable.
