Guanyuanshu

Guanyuanshu(BL26,关元俞) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 5th lumber vertebra(L5).

Indication

• ①Abdominal distension, diarrhea;
• ②lower back pain;
• ③frequent micturition or retention of urine.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 inches. Moxibustion is applicable.
