Ru Xiang and Mo Yao: Activating blood and moving qi to alleviate pain, resolving swelling and promoting tissue regeneration.

Hong Hua: Activating blood and dredging meridians, dispelling stasis and alleviating pain.

Ma Huang: Relieving exterior syndrome, dispersing cold pathogen.

Zhang Nao and Bing Pian: Inducing resuscitation and alleviating pain.

Wei Ling Xian, Hai Tong Pi and Hai Feng Teng: Dispelling wind-damp, dredging meridians to alleviate pain.

Su Mu: Activating blood and curing trauma, dispelling stasis and dredging meridians.

Xue Jie: Dispelling stasis to alleviate pain, stopping bleeding and promoting tissue regeneration.

Chuan Wu and Cao Wu: Dispelling wind-damp, warming meridians and alleviating pain.

Yan Hu Suo: Activating blood, promoting the flow of qi to alleviate pain.

Wu Yao: Promoting the circulation of Qi to soothe the liver, dispersing pathogenic cold to alleviate pain.
