Jiuwei(CV15,鸠尾) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Conception Vessel.
Location
On the midline of the abdomen, 1 cun below the xyphoid process.
Indication
- ①Epilepsy and mania ;
- ②chest pain ;
- ③abdominal distension, hiccups.
Method
Oblique insertion 0.5~1 cun downward.
