Yinxi

Yinxi(HT6, 阴郄) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand. Yinxi is the Xi-cleft Point of the heart.

Meaning

Yin, Yin of Yin-Yang; xi, cleft. This is the Xi-cleft Point of the Hand-Shaoyin Meridian.

Location

0.5 cun above Shenmen, on the radial side of the tendon of m. flexor carpiulnaris.

Indication

Cardiac pain, arrhythmia, neurasthenia, insomnia, night sweating, aphonia.

Method

Perpendicularly 0.3～0.5 cun.
