輒筋

Zhejin

Zhejin(GB23,辄筋) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Shaoyang Gall Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Location

1 cun anterior to Yuanye(GB22) and level with the nipple, in the 4th intercostals space.

Indication

• ①Fullness sensation in the chest, asthma;
• ②vomiting and acid regurgitation;
• ③pain in the hypochondriac region, swelling of the axilla, pain in the back and shoulder.

Method

Puncture obliquely 0.3-0.5 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
