豐隆

Fenglong

Fenglong(ST40,丰隆) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Yangming Stomach Meridian of Foot. It is the Luo-Connecting Point and main point for expelling phlegm.

Meaning

Feng, plentiful; long, abundance. The plentiful grain Qi of the Stomach Meridian overflows into its collateral at this point.

Location

8 cun superior and anterior to the external malleolus, one finger-breadth from the anterior crest of the tibia.

Indication

Cough, asthma, dizziness, mental disorder, indigestion, numbness of the lower limbs.
