Yinmen

Yinmen(BL37,殷门) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Taiyang Bladder Meridian of Foot.

Location

On the posterior thigh, in the depression between the hamstrings, 6 cun below Chengfu(BL36), on the line connecting Chengfu (BL36) and Weizhong(BL40).

Indication

Lower back pain; motor impairment of the lower extremity.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 1.0-2.0 inches. Moxibustion is applicable.
