Ingredients

Explanation

Ju Pi: The principal drug, regulating the flow of Qi and the function of the stomach, checking upward adverse flow of Qi to arrest vomiting.

Qing Pi: Moving qi and soothing the liver, breaking qi to resolve stagnation.

Hou Po: Promoting the flow of Qi to subdue distention, drying dampness and removing fullness.

Gan Jiang: Warming the spleen and stomach and dispersing pathogenic cold.

San Leng: Breaking blood and moving qi, resolving food stagnation and alleviating pain.

Da Huang: Removing blood stasis through invigorating blood circulation, clearing away heat from blood.

Qian Niu Zi: Inducing diuresis, eliminating phlegm and retained fluid.

Effect

Regulate the flow of qi and resolve stagnation.

Indications

Abdominal distension and qi stagnation.

Administration

All the drugs are ground into fine powder. The powder is made with vinegar into pills.
