Ingredients
- Ren Shen 6 g,
- Bai Zhu 6 g,
- Fu Ling 6 g,
- Zhi Gan Cao 6 g,
- Chen Pi 7.5 g,
- Ban Xia 7.5 g,
- Cang Zhu 7.5 g,
- Chai Hu 6 g,
- Sheng Ma 1.5 g,
- Sheng Jiang 10 g.
Explanation
Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling and zhi Gan Cao: Working together to invigorate Qi and reinforce the spleen.
Chen Pi: Regulating the flow of Qi and stomach, removing dampness and dissolving phlegm.
Ban Xia: Removing dampness and resolving phlegm, descending the upward adverse flow of Qi to arrest vomiting.
Cang Zhu: Drying dampness and invigorating spleen, dispelling wind-dampness.
Sheng Jiang: Dispersing wind-cold, warming the middle energizer to stop vomiting, warming the lung to stop cough.
Chai Hu: Clearing away heat through the superficies of the body to relieve exterior syndrome.
Sheng Ma: Expelling pathogenic factors from the muscles and skin, promoting eruption, removing toxic substances.
Effect
Regulate qi, resolve phlegm and strengthen the spleen.
Indications
Excessive phlegm due to qi deficiency for fat people, increased leucorrhea.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken on empty stomach.
