Explanation
Shan Yao: Benefiting both the spleen and the kidney.
Fu Ling: Inducing diuresis and draining dampness, invigorating spleen.
Tian Dong, Mai Dong, Sheng Di and Shu Di: Promoting the production of body fluids and tonifying blood.
Bai Bu: Moistening lung to relieve cough.
E Jiao: Nourishing Yin and tonifying the lung, enriching blood to arrest bleeding.
Chuan Bei Mu: Clearing and resolving heat-phlegm, moistening and resolving dry-phlegm, relieving cough, dissipating nodulation and resolving swelling.
San Qi: Resolving blood stasis and stop bleeding, activating blood to alleviate pain.
Shui Ta Gan: Tonifying yin and eliminating heat, relieving cough and stopping bleeding.
Sha Shen: Nourishing yin of lung and stomach, clearing heat of lung and stomach, tonifying qi of spleen and lung, and dispelling phlegm.

Tonify yin to protect lung, eliminate phlegm and relieve cough.

Cough due to yin deficiency.
