Explanation
Ju Pi: The principal drug, regulating the flow of Qi and the function of the stomach, checking upward adverse flow of Qi to arrest vomiting.
Zhu Ru: The other principal drug, clearing heat from the stomach to arrest vomiting.
Ginger Juice: Regulating the stomach to arrest vomiting.
Shi Di: Checking the upward adverse flow of Qi, arresting hiccup.
Effect
Clear heat and resolve phlegm, harmonize the stomach and calm the adverse-rising energy. Indications
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
