少府

Shaofu

Shaofu(HT8, 少府) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Shaoyin Heart Meridian of Hand. Shaofu is the Ying-Spring Point of the heart.

Meaning

Shao, young; fu, place. The point pertains to the Hand-Shaoyin Meridian, where the Qi of meridian is infused.

Location

Between 4th and 5th metacarpal bones(when fist made) between the tips of the little finger and the ring finger.

Indication

Arrhythmia, cardiac pain, suppression of urine, nocturnal enuresis, cramp of the little finger.

Method

Perpendicularly 0.3～0.5 cun.
