- Dan Shen 300 g,
- Wu Wei Zi 150 g,
- Shi Chang Pu 100 g,
- An Shen Gao 560 g.
The ingredients of An Shen Gao:
- He Huan Pi 30 g,
- Tu Si Zi 30 g,
- Mo Han Lian 30 g,
- Nv Zhen Zi 40 g,
- Shou Wu Teng 50 g,
- Di Huang 20 g,
- Zhen Zhu Mu 200 g.
Explanation
Zhen Zhu Mu: Calming the liver and suppressing the hyperactivities of the liver-Yang.
Wu Wei Zi: Astringing the Lung to relieve cough.
Dan Shen: Promoting blood circulation and dispelling blood stasis.
Shou Wu Teng: Nourishing the heart and inducing tranquilization, dispelling wind and unblocking collateral.
Sheng Di: Removing heat from the blood, arresting bleeding, nourishing Yin, reducing fever.
Shi Chang Pu: Inducing resuscitation and refreshing mind, resolving dampness and harmonizing the stomach, calming the heart and inducing tranquilization.
He Huan Pi: Inducing tranquilization and relieving depression, activating blood and relieving swelling.
Nv Zhen Zi: Nourishing the liver and kidney, improving eyesight.
Mo Han Lian: Nourishing the liver and kidney, cooling blood to stop bleeding.
Tu Si Zi: Tonifying the kidney, nourishing essence, nourish the liver to improve vision, reducing urination and stopping leukorrhagia, tonifying the spleen to check diarrhea.
Effect
Tonify blood and induce tranquilization.
Indications
Palpitation, insomnia, dizziness caused by yin-blood deficiency.
Administration
Dan Shen, Wu Wei Zi and Shi Chang Pu are ground into fine powder. The powder is made with An Shen Gao into pills.
