太乙

Taiyi

Taiyi(ST23,太乙) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Yangming Stomach Meridian of Foot.

Location

On the abdomen, 2 cun above the umbilicus, 2 cun lateral to the midline.

Indication

• ①Stomachache;
• ②vexation;
• ③epilepsy and mania.

Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.7-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
