Ingredients
- Xuan Shen 15 g
- Mai Dong 15 g
- Sheng Di 15 g
- Hou Po 10 g
- Da Huang 6~10 g
- Xing Ren 10 g
- Bai Shao 10~15 g
- Zhi Shi 10 g
- Hei Zhi Ma] 15~30 g
Explanation
Xuan Shen: Clear heat and cool blood, purge fire, remove toxicity, nourish yin for lowering fire.
Mai Dong: Nourish yin and clear heat.
Hou Po: Promote the flow of qi and dry dampness.
Sheng Di: Clear heat and nourish yin.
Bai Shao: Astringe yin to check sweating, calm and suppress liver yang.
Da Huang: Remove accumulation with purgative, clear heat and resolve dampness.
Hei Zhi Ma: Tonify the liver and kidney, moisten the five zang organs.
Zhi Shi: Break qi and relieve stuffiness.
Xing Ren: Descend the lung-Qi, moisten intestines.
Effect
Nourish yin and purge heat, promote the secretion of body fluid and moisten the intestines.
Indications
Heat accumulation in the stomach and intestines, impairment of body fluid.
Administration
All the drugs are decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
