Explanation
Sheng Di and Mai Dong: Nourishing Yin, promoting the production of body fluid.
Sha Shen: Clearing lung fire and tonifying lung yin.
Raw Gan Cao: Purging fire and harmonizing the spleen and stomach.
Yuan Shen: Clearing heat and cooling blood, nourishing yin for lowering fire.
Gui Jia: Nourishing yin of liver and kidney.
Bie Jia: Nourishing yin of liver and kidney, clearing deficiency heat.
Chi Shao and Dan Shen: Clearing heat and cooling blood, activating blood and dissipate blood stasis.
Jin Yin Hua and Lian Qiao: Clearing heat and removing toxicity.
Tian Hua Fen: Clearing heat and purging fire, generating body fluid.
Shi Hu: Nourishing yin of stomach and kidney, clearing heat of stomach and descending kidney fire.
Effect
Tonify yin, promote the secretion of body fluid and saliva, clear heat and remove toxicity.
Indications
Exfoliative dermatitis and erythroderma caused by heat-toxin which damage and exhaust body fluid.
Administration
All the drugs are decocted in water for oral dose to be taken.
