印堂
Meaning
Yin, generally refer to seal; tang, hall. The place that between the medial ends of the eyebrows was called "Que" in ancient time and was called Yingtang by astrologers, the point is on that place, so it was called Yintang.
Location
On the forehead, at the midpoint between the two medial ends of the eyebrow.
Indication
- 1.Headache, heavy sensation of the head, vertigo
- 2.Rhinorrhea, epistaxis
- 3.Infantile convulsion
- 4.Insomnia
Method
Subcutaneous insertion 0.3-0.5 cun. Moxbibustion is applicable.
