- Shi Hu 9 g,
- Di Gu Pi 9 g,
- Mu Li 30 g,
- Hua Rui Shi 30 g,
- Zong Lv Tan 12 g,
- Ce Bai Ye 15 g,
- Ou Jie Tan 12 g.
Explanation
Sheng Di, Hua Rui Shi, Zong Lv Tan, Ce Bai Ye and Ou Jie: Cooling blood to stop bleeding.
Bai Shao, Huang Qin, Di Gu Pi and Mu Li: Soothing the liver and clearing heat.
Xuan Shen and Shi Hu: Tonifying yin and promoting the secretion of body fluids.
Effect
Tonify yin, stop bleeding and clear heat.
Indications
Metrorrhagia and metrostaxis due to yin deficiency and blood-heat.
Administration
Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
